The Current Norm
To help keep my PTSD controlled, I have been photographing families from a distance of 8 ft and further,
on their front porches, backyards, through windows and on the street in front of their homes.
I have photographed over 500 families in the Chicagoland area and needed to name my project,
"The Current Norm"
The portraits I've been taking capture the energy of our current norm, the imperfect perfect situation we are currently in.
I have loved every moment spent with every family and have been thoroughly impressed with a lot of the creativity I've seen.
They are not meant to replace your family photos you normally have taken, they are to commemorate this time in history.
The weather and sun have been unpredictable, the kids moods are what they are....
(tho I've been able to change some by my distance and madness) I've been capturing it all.
All dates for project are full, thank you to all who participated........
